Project Description
WATFORD GENERAL HOSPITAL EMERGENCY LIGHTING
Have A Construction Project In Mind?
The Project:
The Project:
After a competitive tender process, Hamlet were awarded the contract to complete the installation of Emergency Lights at the Watford General Hospital site.
The new Emergency Lights were installed to a scheme designed by Thorlux Ltd, using their Smartscan addressable emergency lighting system. The Smartscan system allows the Estates Department to monitor the operation and performance of the emergency lighting system via a remote computer.
All works were undertaken in a fully operational Hospital environment, working in ‘live’ wards, Outpatients departments, theatres, and administration areas. This required very close co-ordination with the Estates and Projects Teams and the end users. We were able to ensure that any disruption to the running of the departments was kept to a minimum.
