NEW PEDIATRIC ASSESSMENT UNIT

Hamlet won the tender to convert the existing Outpatient Fracture Clinic area at Watford General Hospital. We provided a 7-bed Paediatric Assessment Unit, comprised of four bed bays and three single bedrooms. 

The works included: 

• Demolition and structural alterations. 
• Stripping out of existing fixtures and finishes. 
• Construction of new partitions to create the required layout. 
• New floor coverings. 
• Suspended ceilings. 
• New doorsets. 
• Full re-decoration. 
• Installation of wall and surface protection. 
• New electrical installation, to including power and lighting. 
• New data and telephone infrastructure. 
• New Nurse Call System. 
• New Fire Alarm System. 
• New Air Handling Unit and ducted ventilation system. 
• New Air Conditioning System. 
• New plumbing and drainage services. 
• Installation of new Medical Gas services.
