Following another successful tender, Hamlet were engaged to carry out alterations to existing clinical areas in the Mandeville Wing building at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. This allowed for the relocation of the Cardiology Department. 

The contract included the creation of new office accommodation in the Hartwell Building for the hospital executives and directors. This involved the alteration and refurbishment of existing offices in the Hartwell Building alongside the creation of additional offices in multiple buildings on the hospital site, for the transfer of staff. 

The works included: 

• Stripping out the existing fixtures and finishes. 
• Structural alterations to provide re-modelled accommodation. 
• New floor coverings. 
• Suspended ceilings. 
• New doorsets. 
• Full re-decoration. 
• New electrical installations, including power and lighting. 
• New Fire Alarm System. 
• New Access Control Systems. 
• New data and telephone infrastructure. 
• Alterations to plumbing and drainage services. 
• Installation of new Passenger Lift.
